You can find our vision and curriculum yearly overviews for Maths in every year group here. The overviews show the order and timings for teaching of maths concepts and knowledge. 

Remember that all children progress differently and lessons will be carefully differentiated by the teacher to ensure each child's needs are catered for.

The use of maths manipulatives underpins all of our maths teaching, so you will see children using resources including place value counters, Base 10, Numicon, tens frames, Multilink and Cuisenaire to help expose the structures of the mathematics being taught. 

Our highly experienced teachers use White Rose supplemented with other high-quality maths curriculum resources (e.g. NCETM, NRich, YouCubed, etc.) so that our learners can apply their knowledge to a wide range of rich reasoning investigations and tasks to broaden and deepen their understanding.

Look on each year group's Home Learning pages to find a wide range of video clips, songs, rhymes, tips and tricks to help make learning essential number facts fun. (Children in years 2-6 have their own Google logins to access these pages.)
